SOCIAL COMMITTEE

Social Committee meeting June 11, 2026

Present:

Jeanie Doane, Nancy Murphy, Trish Mckinzie, Victoria Ochoa, Denise Altruda

Discussion: Cast party venue.

Each member present was assigned a different restaurant to check for our party. The parameters were area size for 50, cost and what food and amenities are offered.

We will gather the information and make a decision, as I would like to contract with venues before prices increase.

Maggiano’s

Lucille’s

Rampart Buffet

90:ninety

Others TBD

Decorations previously discussed by the chair and Joann Hess will include office supplies.

Possible Dolly Parton backdrop for photos.

Briefly discussed Christmas party and we are all to get catering ideas.

MEMBERS COMMITTEE

Members Committee meeting 5/11/26 4 pm at the Summit Restaurant.

In attendance were Eileen Cox, John Mura and Nancy Murphy. We discussed refreshments for May, June and July.

It was decided on root beer floats for May meeting and Pizza for June or July. Welcome new member emails were sent to 7 new members.

We talked about the We Welcome New Members Flyers for brochure racks at our community rooms.

T-shirt sales as of our April meeting is 7. We need 3 more sold to place our order with Bruce at Sunshine Design.

We talked about speakers for future meetings. Lynne is talking to the Music Director for 9 to 5 play and Eileen said she would talk to her daughter about speaking. We discussed the need for a few more member committee members. Our next meeting is scheduled for 6/8/26 at the Summit Restaurant 4 pm. Our meeting ended at 4:59 pm. Submitted by Nancy Murphy.
