SOCIAL COMMITTEE
The Social Committee met Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 10:30 am.
Present:
Victoria Ochoa, Chair, Henry Ochoa, Kim Fannin, Trish McKinzie, Kathy Zhangi, Joann Hess, Jeanie Doane and Mary Lee
- The meeting was Called to order at 10:28
- Introduction of new member, Henry Ochoa
- Discussed cast party to be held on February 24, 2026 at a location to be determined.
- The following locations are being queried for what can be provided and include:
- Lucille’s – by Victoria Ochoa
- BJ’s – by Victoria Ochoa
- Ninety/90 (Suncoast) – by Trish Mckinzie
- Summit Restaurant – by Kathy
- We will be choosing one of these locations by the end of January and will inform the board with all pertinent details including price.
- We are expecting approximately 30 people and will inform Jackie Seavey, treasurer of the cost to charge plus ones.
- We will also need to allow one of our backstage crew to order off the regular menu and pay for that as we need a gluten-free option.
- The party attire will be a 70’s clothing style
- The announcement will be sent after I get a firm price and choose the venue.
- The Meeting was adjourned at 11:10.

MEMBERS COMMITTEE
3/31/26 Member’s Committee Meeting
2:30 pm in the Summit Restaurant in lieu of the 4/13/26 as Chairperson Nancy will be out of town.
- Attended by: Denise, Eileen, Marla, John Mura, & Nancy.
- Nancy will bring refreshments for the April general meeting.
- Nancy reported that Sunshine Designs will process our shirt order when we have sold 10. We have sold 4 so far. Speakers for April, May and June were discussed. Nancy will talk to our President Lynne to see if she would talk to our new play director & music director about talking in May or June.
- John Mura volunteered to send out new member welcome emails.
- We Welcome New Members Flyers need to be printed for placing in the brochure racks in our Community Centers. Nancy will follow up with Kim.
- Marla mentioned that we need to have a table in the lobby at our plays with membership information and a greeter there to answer questions.
- Our next meeting will be held 5/11/26 4 pm at the Summit Restaurant.

After the committee met, 4 musical worksheets were submitted to the Theatre Club Board of Directors for consideration, with the possibility of a 5th show to be submitted later.
