SOCIAL COMMITTEE<\/h2>\n

The Social Committee met Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 10:30 am.<\/span><\/p>\n

Present:<\/b><\/p>\n

Victoria Ochoa, Chair, Henry Ochoa, Kim Fannin, Trish McKinzie, Kathy Zhangi, Joann Hess, Jeanie Doane and <\/span>Mary Lee<\/span><\/p>\n

  • The meeting was Called to order at 10:28<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Introduction of new member, Henry Ochoa<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Discussed cast party to be held on February 24, 2026 at a location to be determined.<\/span>\n
      \n
    • The following locations are being queried for what can be provided and include:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Lucille’s – by Victoria Ochoa<\/span><\/li>\n
      • BJ’s –\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 by Victoria Ochoa<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Ninety\/90 (Suncoast) –\u00a0 by Trish Mckinzie<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Summit Restaurant – by Kathy\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • We will be choosing one of these locations by the end of January and will inform the board with all pertinent details including price.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • We are expecting approximately 30 people and will inform Jackie Seavey, treasurer of the cost to charge plus ones.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • We will also need to allow one of our backstage crew to order off the regular menu and pay for that as we need a gluten-free option.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • The party attire will be a 70’s clothing style<\/span><\/li>\n
          • The announcement will be sent after I get a firm price and choose the venue.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • The Meeting was adjourned at 11:10.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              3\/31\/26 Member’s Committee Meeting\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \u00a02:30 pm in the Summit Restaurant in lieu of the 4\/13\/26 as Chairperson Nancy will be out of town.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

              • Attended by: Denise, Eileen, Marla, John Mura, & Nancy.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Nancy will bring refreshments for the April general meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Nancy reported that Sunshine Designs will process our shirt order when we have sold 10. We have sold 4 so far. Speakers for April, May and June were discussed. Nancy will talk to our President Lynne to see if she would talk to our new play director & music director about talking in May or June.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              • John Mura volunteered to send out new member welcome emails.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              • We Welcome New Members<\/span><\/i> Flyers need to be printed for placing in the brochure racks in our Community Centers. Nancy will follow up with Kim.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Marla mentioned that we need to have a table in the lobby at our plays with membership information and a greeter there to answer questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Our next meeting will be held 5\/11\/26 4 pm at the Summit Restaurant.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
